What’s Wrong with Our Diet?

Most Americans actually think they eat a pretty good diet. In reality, they eat too much processed food that is filled with additives, fat, salt and sugar. That means food that comes out of a bag, box, tray or can.

Here are some examples of processed foods:

Many Americans eat as many as 75% of their meals outside of the home or from pre-prepared sources. That means we have less control over what is in our food and less control over the size of the meal portions.

Many of the foods we eat are high in sugar or High Fructose Corn Syrup. Check out any food label – many of the products on our table are filled with sugar or high fructose corn syrup boy drinkingwhich adds empty calories.


On top of that many people drink an average of
32 – 64 oz of soft drinks daily.
64 oz = a half gallon!
