Tangy Green Beans

Serves:  4
 
2 cups frozen cut green beans or cut fresh green beans
¼ cup hot fat-free chicken broth
3 tbsp. sliced green onions
¼ tsp. cinnamon
pepper to taste
2 tbsp. Ketchup
 
Combine green beans, chicken broth, onions, cinnamon and pepper in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until beans are tender (6 to 7 minutes for frozen beans or about 15 minutes for fresh).
