Dawn holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan with double minors in economics and English and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University. 

She is a seasoned communications professional with twenty-five years' experience with private enterprise, non-profits and public corporations. She's worked with a variety of diverse groups including businesses, community organizations, government agencies, media and the general public to exchange information and develop strategic plans promoting community outreach and linkages. 

At DDF she is responsible for conducting public and media outreach, developing website content and whatever else needs to be done.
