Kid Initiative Defeat Diabetes® (KIDD™)Project
We know that not everyone has access to the World Wide Web, so we introduced our Schools Screening Test program. This program has allowed us to make available some of the same important information and our Defeat Diabetes® Screening Test brochure to virtually every public and private elementary and middle school throughout the country, free of charge! By putting this information in to the hands of millions of school children and their families, there is a good chance that the growing number of diabetics can be lessened. Knowledge is power, and we are providing that knowledge. This program is not just limited to schools. Scouting Organizations, boys and girls clubs as well as Civic, Religious and Fraternal organizations are invited to participate. If you would like to distribute the printed version of the Defeat Diabetes® Screening Test brochure (now available in Spanish) to your students or membership, we will provide them free of charge.
