1. Dental Services

30% of people with diabetes suffer from periodontal disease, which is a leading cause of tooth loss and a potentially serious medical/dental condition. An important component to good health is at least one annual visit to a dentist and our program makes that affordable.

Our Dental Services program utilizes the Aetna Dental Network, which features 61,000 participating providers nationwide all of whom are fully licensed and accredited.

The program provides an average savings of 30% - 50% on routine dentistry and specialty care, such as periodontal and orthodontics.

2. Vision Services

Diabetes causes 12,000 - 24,000 new cases of adult blindness every year. Mr. Diabetes® has experienced diabetic retinopathy, which required surgery on both of his eyes to correct/save his vision. He has his eyes examined once each year and recommends that you do the same.

3. Comprehensive Wellness Profile and Lab Services Program

One of the most expensive aspects of medical care is the diagnostic tests. Our laboratory services and annual comprehensive wellness profile are designed to provide up to 70% savings on standard laboratory tests. The services are provided at thousands of independent laboratories throughout the United States .

Comprehensive Wellness Profile
One Comprehensive Wellness Profile at no cost is provided to each family per year and includes those tests traditionally ordered by your physician as part of an annual physical exam. They measure key wellness factors and may uncover health conditions before they become real problems. Some of the key measures include: liver, kidney and lipid panels; CBC's, Glucose, Electrolytes, Minerals and Thyroid with TSH.

Additional Wellness Profiles can be purchased for $63. The typical fee for these tests is $300 - $400 and includes 40 - 50 separate lab tests and results.

4. Imaging Services Program

Save up to 70% on x-rays, MRI's, ultrasounds, mammograms, Cat scans and hundreds of other procedures. All procedures include a doctor's evaluation at no extra charge

5. Discount Prescription Program

The DDS Comprehensive Wellness Service includes one comprehensive wellness profile per family membership per year. The Wellness profile includes test and analysis and written lab report of the following:

Prescriptions are another costly aspect of healthcare, particularly for people with diabetes who often have additional health problems beyond their diabetes, which require medication.

· Neighborhood Pharmacy Program with 44,000 affiliates nationwide that include independent pharmacies and recognized chains, such as: Wal-Mart; Kmart; Von's; Target; Costco; CVS; Pharmor; Publix; Rite-Aid; Safeway; Sav-Mor; Kroger; Duane Reed and thousands of others.
