The Defeat Diabetes Foundation Privacy Policy

1.  Our e-mail addresses are never sold or given away to third parties.

2.  We keep all responses to surveys, registration forms, and other personal data private.

Any information you provide when registering or requesting services or filling out forms, polls  or surveys is kept private.  We may release compounded statistics (for example, the number of parents with diabetic children), but your individual response is kept confidential.

3.  We keep your donation, purchase and contact information private.

When you donate to the Defeat Diabetes Foundation, we take special precautions with your personal information such as address, phone number, and credit card information.  When transmitting such information over the internet, we use SSL encryption, the same technology that online banking systems use to keep their customers' transactions private.

4.  We never send unsolicited e-mail.

The Defeat Diabetes Foundation strongly opposes the practice of sending 'spam', or junk e-mail.  We don't subscribe anyone to any e-mail list unless we are requested to do so.
