What is ATHLETE’S FOOT?
(NOT to be confused with Joe Namath’s KNEE, or Peyton Manning’s NECK)
Athlete’s foot, Tinea Pedis, Ringworm, and Fungal Infection are all synonymous.
Athlete’s Foot is the most common type of ringworm infection. It is a penalty of civilization
and the wearing of shoes. It is uncommon in primitive races accustomed to going barefooted. Read more about Athlete's Foot.
The Kid Initiative to Defeat Diabetes® (KIDD™) Curriculum
This generation of children is on the fast track to live a shorter, less healthy life span than their parents.
According to Connie Diekman, Director of University Nutrition at Washington University in St. Louis, "Nutrition education needs to start in prenatal classes and move through the entire education system…Many kids -- and their parents -- simply do not know what they ought to be eating."
The
Kid Initiative to Defeat Diabetes® Curriculum is designed to fill this gap in information about diabetes and obesity and its relationship to nutrition and fitness.
