For most people spinach is a love or hate thing. I think people hate it because they’ve had it badly prepared.
 
Spinach is a member of the goosefoot family (because of the shape of the leaves) and is native to Persia (modern day Iran and Iraq). It spread to China over 2,000 years ago along the silk route and later spread to Spain via the Moors. Read more
