Prehypertension Common in Diabetic and Non-Diabetic Subjects

Patients with diabetes had a higher prevalence of prehypertension than did those without diabetes. Diabetic subjects with prehypertension had the highest cumulative incidence of cardiovascular disease during follow-up.
