Although this stretch appears to be the same as the Ankle Reach stretch, it isn’t. Because you’re moving one leg forward and rolling your foot onto its heel, and because of the deliberate flex in your opposite leg (at the knee) you’re targeting different areas of your leg(s).
This stretch further aids the seamless healthy transition from your waist to your lower body.
