Defeat Diabetes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to the prevention, early identification and self-management of diabetes. Our motto is: Awareness + Action = Prevention®
 
The Foundation conducts a variety of programs each year to promote awareness, prevention, early detection and self-management of diabetes and pre-diabetes: The KiDD Project, The DAN Project, The Mr. Diabetes® Wake Up and Walk® Tour, Media Outreach Programs and our comprehensive website, www.DefeatDiabetes.org.
