Family Weekends, Family Education Days and Bring-A-Friend Weekends in different
locations and times throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. These sessions allow families and friends a
time together to learn about issues related to diabetes. This provides crucial
diabetes education, nutrition education, psycho-social support, and a chance
for kids and parents to get to know their doctor outside of the hospital
setting; allows kids with diabetes and their siblings to
meet other kids just like them and provides an opportunity for parents to meet
other parents. These events help
prepare kids for the summer camp experience, and teach the whole family
that together, they can handle diabetes. Ages: 6-18 Adventure Cycling Camp Ages 15-18 yrs Adventure Camp –
