juggling, puppetry, tumbling and stiltwalking are just some of the activities
offered. Rainbow Juniors
Ages 3 to 6 The
"juniors" have a designated staff of counselors and a nurse as
oversight. Specially designed age-appropriate schedule and activities including
Gymboree! Rainbow
Sunshiners Ages 7 to 10 These Rainbow
Kids will be led by a buddy (matched by common interests), a counselor, and a
team of nurses. Rainbow Counselors In Traing Ages 11 - 16 The
Counselors-in-Training role is an opportunity for the older kids to be buddies
and mentors while experiencing the fun of the program. A limited number of
accepted CITs have the opportunity to be sponsored by The Rainbow Club for
certification in the American Red Cross CPR training program. "Let's
Talk" for Adults This adult
program will take place from Monday through Friday at the Round Hill Community
Church. This is a great opportunity for concerned loved ones to share ideas,
solutions, and emotions while benefiting from education on information and
research leading to the hope for a cure. Rainbow
Counselors Volunteer
Counselors share a wealth of individual experience. They are professional
teachers, medical students, certified in CPR, fitness, or diabetes nursing. All
staff is experienced in the care of children with diabetes, some of whom have
it themselves. |
