Awareness and Outreach Activities24 million people have diabetes and one third of them don’t know it. An additional 57 million are pre-diabetic and at risk for developing the disease in the next ten years if they don't take steps to prevent it. These astounding statistics include your friends, neighbors, co-workers or even a family member! We know that we can identify those people early and, thus, minimize many of the complications associated with diabetes, if not prevent them from occurring in the first place. You can help.
